HOW TO BE ECO!!
Why do we want to stop global warming you ask? Here are five of the impacts climate change will cause if we don't ACT FAST.
1 - The Spread of disease will be faster because as northern countries warm, disease carrying insects, such as mosquitoes, move north, bringing diseases with them.
2 - The sea temperatures will rise, making some areas uninhabitable of sea life, along with the frequency and strength of hurricanes.
3 - More droughts and heat waves- although some areas are thought to become wetter droughts will become more common and water scarce, possibly leading to conflict.
4 - Polar ice caps will melt leading to a significant rise in sea-levels, eradicating many animals that inhabit the ice caps and speeding up global warming.
5 - If the temperature rises by just two degrees then the rainforest may suffer serious droughts- leaving no way to rid CO2 from the atmosphere.
Eco Freaks take part in many activities for example, litter picking, raising awareness and finding new ways to use or sell items to avoid them getting thrown away! Here are some ideas for you to try:
- RECYCLE wherever possible-even if it takes that little nit more effort

- Put an empty water bottle in your toilet tank to save water every time you flush.
